Photoshop Tutorial on how to create own Pattern, Add watermark to an Image and Adding dotted effect to Images

Pattern is a useful feature in Photoshop. It allows you to make watermarks and creative custom backgrounds. There are a lot of Patterns already available by default. We can create our own Pattern and use it in designing. I have made a video tutorial on how to create own pattern and use them. Also you can learn how to add some Dotted effect to Image.

• Open the Image to which you want to add Pattern
• Check the resolution of the image by clicking CTRL + ALT + I
• Press CTRL + N and create New Image with Height and Width as 100 ( You can change it as per your text or pattern size)
• Press CTRL + SHIFT + N to create new empty layer.
• In the empty layer type your desired text or add any custom shape which u want as pattern.
• Delete the Background and other layers.
• Press CTRL + A to select entire region.
• Not Select Edit > Define Pattern. Name the Pattern and select Ok.
• Move back to Original Image. Double Click over the Image to Unlock it,.
• Double Click again to open Layer Style box
• Select Pattern Overlay and select the Pattern which you designed Recently.
• Click Ok and you are DONE..
