How to enable fingerprint lock in WhatsApp, New feature in WhatsApp 2019

WhatsApp rolledout Fingerprint Lock feature in its recent version. This feature is a need for privacy of the user. Users had to depend on third party apps for securing WhatsApp with lock, Now one can use activate the Fingerprint Lock using WhatsApp itself by following the below steps.



Step 1: Open WhatsApp and select the option button from top right.
Step 2: Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select Account
Step 4: Then select Privacy
Step 5: Scroll down and select Fingerprint lock
Step 6: Select when to lock WhatsApp after you exit the App. You can either lock it Immediately after you close WhatsApp or after the duration of 1 minute or 30 minutes.
You can also change setting to Show/Hide the message in Notification which adds extra privacy to the incoming messages which might be readable via Notification to unauthorized people.
